The Paul H. O’Neill Center for Leadership in Public Service at Indiana University is a cross-campus initiative dedicated to strengthening society through service. We are preparing the next generation of leaders, providing impactful executive education, and fostering meaningful collaborations between scholars, students, and practitioners in the public and nonprofit sectors. By organizing and expanding our leadership programs on our Bloomington and Indianapolis campuses, we are creating additional opportunities for experiential learning, research-driven insights, and professional development that benefit students, faculty, and community partners alike.

“There’s no better opportunity to learn about leadership than to be at O’Neill. And I think that people here really approach problems with an open-minded and solution-oriented mind. They are problem solvers.”
Claudia Cummings, MPA’94

“Leading for the greater good is getting out of bed every day trying to make the world just a little bit better. And I think it's our responsibility to do so, and what O'Neill did was it gave me the tools to do that professionally, and to be truly impactful in the work that I do every day.”

COO, Hoosier Ticket Project
“We have found an awesome partner in the O’Neill School. We’re helping the students, and they’re helping us. It’s a fantastic relationship, and I encourage other nonprofits that are looking for help to get involved with the O’Neill School as well.”
